Queer Food Growing Collective
The Queer Food Growing Collective, based in Cape Town, South Africa, works to serve the greater Cape Flats community by linking food justice with queer joy and resistance. I led the website launch from the ground up, developing the tagline, writing all content, and shaping a design that reflects QFGC’s values of sustainability, community, and care. The site tells the Collective’s story as more than a food initiative: it is a political act of nourishment, connection, and belonging. Through clear storytelling and intentional design, the platform amplifies grassroots voices while connecting local and global audiences to their transformative work.
